Xenite.Org publishes a lot of content. And though WordPress is improving its site search functionality, you cannot search all the subdomains on Xenite from each other. We have been looking for a way to provide a good, solid site search tool that allows you to search through all our content.
Unfortunately, we cannot find a free tool that we like. So we have decided to set up an experimental page on a special subdomain, https://search.xenite.org/, where you can search all of our subdomains from Bing.
We have embedded a pre-coded Bing site search for Xenite.Org in an iframe. You can just add a space followed by whatever terms you want to add and then hit the search icon.
Everything you see is powered and presented by Bing. Even the ads are theirs (we get no commissions).
In testing we found good results with Google Chrome and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. The results don’t look so good for Firefox users.
We hope you’ll find this tool useful for searching through all of Xenite.Org’s content. Although we have taken down a lot of old content there are still well over 1,000 pages of articles for you to enjoy here, from Andre Norton to J.R.R. Tolkien and Middle-earth.
